how are you woni -- did you know?
i was finally kicked out of korea.
so i hope you didnt send me anything.
but the other people in yeosu immigration (actually all immigration centers all over korea--still need help)
im in new york city:: read this:
thursday july 21, 2005
i am back in new york
i was illegally deported
(because i haven''t been paid my wages from working
at a hagwon in pusan, and because i have human rights case
petition filed against immigration and the pusan police dept)
first i was tricked and forced onto a van at Yeosu
Immigration after resisting and refusing to cooperate
(because I was not allowed to make a phone call to
Mr. Lee Jun Sang of the Democratic Labor Party in Cheonnamdo)
Then at Incheon Airport I was forcibly
put on asiana flight to new york
(because i passivley resisted)
at 7 something pm
which arrived about 14 hours later
at JFK airport around 8:30pm
on the same day (but of course different time zone)
i was escorted by the pusan ShilJang Mr. Lim
and a more junior immigration officer Mr. Yim Seong Jin
all the way to new york on the flight and through
customs
(Mr. Lim was very kind to me the entire time. And didn''t
stamp a deportation mark in my passport.)

tony
im in the bronx
at my sisters house now
gotta get a job
etc
-----------------
more on the forced deportation
(now i am with an old friend in the bronx not far from my sister)
in the airport, i resisted by laying down on the floor after going
through the immigration check in point
and shouted out in a loud voice (in korean and english)
that my human rights were being violated
this did not make the incheon immigration officials,
who were escorting me, happy in the least bit
they dragged, choked, kicked and elbowed me
and put me onto an electric cart
to transport me to the boarding gate
i stopped shouted because one of the officers
cut off my air supply by pressing on my trachea
i was exhausted and did not resist again until i was taken onto the
plane where i shouted out to the passengers on board that i was being
kidnapped etc. but strangely enough, it didn''t cause much of a stir
except that at the airplane entrance there was an asiana airline
staff person, "persurer KIM EUN HO" who i then complained to. But
he ignored me. And Only told Mr Lim and Mr. Yim that they had to tell
him that I was a "special passenger". THEN Another person came down.
I couldn''t follow all that was said. But I decided to give up
physically resisting then, but I contined to shout but eventually
stopped and sat down because no one seemed to care.
peaceloveblessings,
tony
